This story is really a heartwarmer, just knowing she has now people looking at her instead of laughing at her.
How many have run home crying after been bullied at school or playing outside ? How many have let themselves go under because of this ?
When looking at these situations, we can only notice that a lot of times bullies motivates the bullied to become stronger. Ending up as major winners.
Unfortunately, many do let themselves go down...
WHO do the bullies target ?
People who are physically or emotionally weaker than themselves. They will never target the stronger.
Reason is they have the need to feel better, most of the time they are bullied themselves somewhere or they don't feel good with themselves. In order to feel good they only thing they know is bully others.
In short, it is in fact THEY who have an issue with themselves. We should actually feel sorry for them.
Bullies surround themselves with others who have issues with themselves. Or simply the followers are afraid of the bully. Either way, this doesn't make the bully stronger. Their "friendship" is not based on loyalty but more on fear.
The bullied may have a few friends, however this friendship is based on mutual respect and trust. These are the fundamental ingredients for a strong and healthy relationship, wheter personal or professional.
There is a zen saying : "a road without obstacles, mostly leads nowhwere"
Another saying : "what doesn't destroy us, makes us stronger"
